The Children of Today are the words that I use to describe the children that we find amongst us today.  If you look really close you will notice that they are different.  It is not profoundly seen in their looks by means of physical appearance.  It is being seen in their actions and in their very presence.  They are often called Indigo Children, The Children of the New Earth, Children of the Blue Ray, and many other terms.  I am learning to see them simply as The Children of Today, the children we find around us now!  These children can be up to the late 20's.  Beyond that group I have found the pre-cursors to these children (like myself).  I believe that the pre-cursors came in to set the stage for the children today, and are often the ones very drawn to or are already working with children and/or bringing out the awareness about The Children of Today.  

I am finding that the children today are very courageous and strong in their actions and beliefs.  They seem to know what they want and have no shyness about going after it.  If you look within their eyes you will see wisdom beyond their years.  They know who they are and do not choose to hide it or run from it (unless conditioned by our old patterns).  I often find them very bored with many of our traditional ways and beliefs, so much that it may show up in seeming problems with their attention span.  They also show quite a bit of frustration with the slowness and resistance of our generations.  

They have a great knowing and understanding for the path of our future, and even are leading us upon that path.  Yet they struggle from our attempts to control, as we try desperately to grab on to what is crumbling away.

Coming from our past conditioned patterns it is sometimes hard for us to take this boldness we are seeing with the children today.  But I ask you to look deep within and see if you are not in the same breath trying desperately to heal your past patterns that no longer work for you and thus create a more balanced and happier life.  For if we can realize this truth, then we can learn to look at the children in a whole new way!  We can start to see instead, the gifts that they are offering us.  They are here to challenge anything that no longer serves us!!  They are here to LOUDLY show us what no longer works, for us and more for our Planet!!  Once we accept this, we can than change the struggles that we are experiencing with our children, or at least start to understand them! 

I hope you will join me on this journey of exploring the gifts that are all around us!!  Help me as we start a new day, one where we honor and respect these wonderful beings of light as the teachers that they are!!  A New Day where we free ourselves from the chains of our past, and open up to our full potential as Individuals and as a Planet!  Let's be willing to drop the walls, the makeup, the Ego, and allow ourselves to be in this new and unknown space--The beginning step of our Journey to creating the world of our dreams!
